Volume Converter
Convert liquid and cubic volumes, including US and UK fluid ounces.
How the Volume Converter works
Volumes are converted through the litre. US and UK (imperial) measures differ, so they are listed separately: a US gallon is 3.785411784 L while an imperial gallon is 4.54609 L.
Cubic units use the cube of the linear factor, so one cubic metre is exactly 1,000 litres.
Formulas used
- General
target = value × litres(from) ÷ litres(to)- US gallons to litres
L = gal × 3.785411784
